Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are applicable to all tours booked with TRIPOLISHED. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as by booking any tour with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Deposits & Final Payment:

When booking a tour with TRIPOLISHED, a 50% deposit is required to secure the tour and initiate the necessary booking processes and ground preparations. An invoice with payment instructions will be sent to the client.

The final balance payment for the booked tour is required no later than 5 days before the tour starts. Bookings made within 5 to 2 days of the tour start date should be paid in full.

All payments made to TRIPOLISHED should be free of bank charges and credit card transaction surcharges (e.g., PayPal Tax). TRIPOLISHED is not responsible for any charges levied or imposed by third parties or financial institutions in connection with credit card or other payment transactions. We will not refund or return any fees charged by such third parties.

Booking Agreement:

A booking is confirmed, and these Terms and Conditions become effective when TRIPOLISHED receives the applicable deposit from the client and the client receives written confirmation of the booking from TRIPOLISHED.

Cancellation Policy:

A client may cancel their booking by notifying TRIPOLISHED. The cancellation fees will be determined based on the date of the cancellation request and expressed as a percentage of the total price paid for the cancelled tour.

Cancellation received 35 days or more before the tour starts: No cancellation fees will be charged.

Cancellation received 11 – 34 days before the tour starts: 30% cancellation fee will be charged.

Cancellation received 3 – 10 days before the tour starts: 50% cancellation fee will be charged.

Cancellation received within 48 hours before the tour starts: 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

Tailor-made tours may have alternative cancellation terms, which will be communicated to the clients at the time of booking.

Travel Insurance:

TRIPOLISHED does not provide travel insurance. It is the client’s responsibility to obtain travel insurance from their home country that covers medical, evacuation, repatriation, personal injury, and emergency medical expenses. It is strongly recommended that clients extend their coverage to include cancellation and other expenses that may arise due to loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience during their travel with TRIPOLISHED. The tour price does not include insurance coverage, and clients are required to obtain separate coverage at an additional cost.

Medical Conditions:

All clients are required to truthfully provide relevant medical information to TRIPOLISHED. Clients are responsible for assessing their own suitability and capability to participate in a tour. Clients should consult their physician regarding their fitness for the booked tour and seek advice on vaccinations, medical precautions, or other concerns related to their travel with Java TRIPOLISHED. TRIPOLISHED does not provide medical advice.

Adventure tours with TRIPOLISHED may involve visiting remote or less developed regions of Indonesia where medical facilities may not meet the standards of the client’s home country. The condition of medical facilities in these areas varies, and TRIPOLISHED makes no representations or warranties regarding the standard of such facilities or medical treatment in those regions.

Special Requirements:

TRIPOLISHED will strive to accommodate special requests from clients, such as dietary and accommodation requests. However, such requests do not form part of these Terms and Conditions or the contract between the client and TRIPOLISHED.

TRIPOLISHED is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.

Complaints:

Clients are required to bring any complaints regarding a tour to TRIPOLISHED ‘s attention as soon as possible to allow us to address the complaint properly. Clients should inform the tour guide or designated representative at the earliest opportunity. TRIPOLISHED assumes no liability for complaints that are not properly brought to our attention with sufficient notice for us to resolve or attempt to resolve the complaint. Any complaint made after the completion of a tour must be received in writing by TRIPOLISHED within 20 days of the end of the tour.

Liability:

TRIPOLISHED is not responsible for any damages, expenses, losses, or claims attributable to the fault of any client, unforeseeable or unavoidable acts or omissions of third parties, or force majeure events.

TRIPOLISHED is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to baggage or personal belongings of clients during the tour. Clients are responsible for their own effects and belongings, and personal belongings should not be left unattended in public areas or on transportation vehicles. TRIPOLISHED cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to valuables or other articles left in facilities used by TRIPOLISHED, such as hotels, homestays, vessels, or vehicles.

Force Majeure:

TRIPOLISHED shall not be liable to the client for any loss, damage, delay, or other detriment caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, war, mechanical breakdowns, terrorist activities, civil commotions, labor difficulties, government interference, fire, extreme weather, or any other cause beyond our control.

Images and Marketing:

While participating in any TRIPOLISHED tour, images, photos, or videos may be taken by other clients, representatives, or guides that may feature the client. By participating in the tour, the client consents to the use of such images, photos, and videos by TRIPOLISHED for any purpose, including marketing and promotions, without any further obligation or compensation.

Amendments:

TRIPOLISHED reserves the right to update and/or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be posted on the TRIPOLISHED website and will take effect 5 days after their posting. Clients are advised to refer to the Terms and Conditions prior to their travel to familiarize themselves with the most up-to-date version.
