Jogja After Dark: Evening Walking Tour

Jogja After Dark: Evening Walking Tour

Discover Yogyakarta in the evening, when the air cools and the city comes alive. We start at 5:30 PM from Tugu Jogja (Tugu Golong Gilig) and walk south along Malioboro Street, observing local life, street scenes, and the city’s relaxed night rhythm. Along the way, you may choose to try kopi joss, a unique local coffee enjoyed by many Jogja residents after work. Near the Sultan’s Palace, guests can take a short optional becak (rickshaw) ride or continue walking. We end at Alun-Alun Kidul, the Southern Square, home to the symbolic twin banyan trees and a lively evening atmosphere. This is a slow, relaxed walk focused on local life, stories, and Jogja’s night charm.
